​Leslie Weatherby

Leslie was one of the founding members of the Survivor Thrivers. 

In her time with the team she wore many hats as a member.  She was an excellent paddler, steers person, captain, mentor and supporter.   Leslie was also an R.N. and worked many years with the V.O.N.    Many can attest to the wonderful care and kindness she spread throughout the community. 

She was a loving mother, wife and friend.  She fought many brave battles with cancer having had 3 separate cancer diagnoses.  In the end she lost her battle with multiple myeloma  .  She is missed by all who came to know her beautiful spirit.
