THE POWER OF EXERCISE IN BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS

WE KNOW THAT GETTING REGULAR EXERCISE IS IMPORTANT FOR BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS’ CONTINUED HEALTH. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CAN HELP LESSEN CERTAIN SIDE EFFECTS OF TREATMENT SUCH AS FATIGUE AND DEPRESSION, AND HAS BEEN SHOWN TO REDUCE THE RISK OF RECURRENCE AND IMPROVE SURVIVAL. (WWW.CANCER.ORG)

AFTER A FEW YEARS OFF, WE HAVE A LOT OF WORK TO DO IN ORDER TO BE READY TO PADDLE AND THEN RACE.


WE ALL NEED TO GET MOVING
WALK, RUN, BICYCLE, GOLF, SWIM, KAYAK, PADDLE, WORK OUT. COUNT YOUR STEPS…YOU GET THE IDEA. WE WANT TO COLLECTIVELY ACCUMULATE 4434.7 KM, THE DISTANCE FROM COBOURG, ON TO VANCOUVER, BC BY JULY 1ST, CANADA DAY.
